Meet the Team

Matthew has 31 years experience within the motor industry. He started full time in the business in 1980 after leaving university with a first class honours degree in management sciences. He took over from his father as managing director of Browns Vauxhall and became national chairman of the Vauxhall franchise board in 1996.

Christine has taken over the running of the company since July 2011.

Peter has 32 years experience within the Motor Industry. He started his career in aftersales as a Technician and has progressed to Service Director via many roles. He became the Service Manager for BMW importer in Abu Dhabi for 16 years before returning to the UK to join Browns of Loughton.

Martin has 25 years experience within the Motor Industry. He joined Browns of Loughton as a Sales Executive in 1988 before becoming Sales Manager for our Vauxhall operation in 1998. His Sales Team consists of 4 Sales Executives, a Sales Administrator and Receptionist. Martin is also fully trained through the Vauxhall college to a Gold standard.

Barry has 41 years experience within the Motor Industry. He joined Browns of Loughton as a Parts Advisor in 1971 before becoming Parts Manager in 1988. His Team consists of 3 Parts Advisor's and 1 Sales Administrator.

Brian has 23 years experience within the Motor Industry. He joined Browns of Loughton as a Body Repair Estimator in 1988 before becoming bodyshop Manager in 1994. His Team consists of 3 Paint Technicians, 3 Panel Technicians and 1 Estimator. Brian and his team have received many accreditations for exceptional quality of work.

Kevin has 31 years experience within the Motor Industry. He joined Browns of Loughton as a Service Advisor in 1994 before becoming Customer Care Manager in 2000. Kevin is responsible for ensuring that customers are happy with the service they are receiving.

James has 11 years experience within the Motor Industry. He Joined Browns of Loughton in 2000 as a Sales Executive. James has extensive knowledge of the Vauxhall Brand and is currently our VXR specialist, fully accredited Motability specialist and also fully trained through the Vauxhall college to a Gold standard.

Andy has 18 years experience within the Motor Industry. He Joined Browns of Loughton in 1998 as a Sales Executive. Andy has extensive knowledge of the Vauxhall Brand and is currently our fully accredited Motability specialist. He is also fully trained through the Vauxhall college to a Gold standard.

Stephen has 12 years experience within the Motor Industry. He joined Browns of Loughton in April 2011 and brought with him a wealth of sales experience and skills from his previous role as a senior sales executive for Renault.

Lucy has 5 years experience within the Motor Industry. She joined Browns of Loughton in 2007 as a Sales Administrator. Lucy has a wealth of administration experience to support our growing sales department.

Gary has 11 years experience within the Motor Industry. He joined Browns of Loughton in March 2008 and brought with him a wealth of customer service experience and skills from his previous role as a service advisor for Volkswagen . Customer Care is Gary's number one priority and he relishes the daily challenge of organising our forever growing service reception.

Stefano has 15 years experience within the Motor Industry. He joined Browns of Loughton in April 2011 and brought with him a wealth of customer service experience and skills from his previous role as a service advisor for Volkswagen . Customer Care is Stefano's number one priority and he relishes the daily challenge of organising our forever growing service reception.

Jennet has 7 years experience within the Motor Industry. She joined Browns of Loughton in 2004 as a Receptionist. Jennet will be the one answering the phone, confirming your appointment or the one greeting you with a smile when you walk in the door.
